Herencia Phase Two Roadworks Begin, Power and Water Already On Site

By Herencia Comms Team

For years, the Kenyan real estate market has been plagued by disappointment. Buyers are often lured in by grand promises—modern amenities, expansive green spaces, and fully-serviced plots—only to be met with silence, stalled projects, or half-baked developments. While some of these failures stem from outright fraud, many developers simply miscalculate the true cost of delivering large-scale, master-planned gated communities. When reality sets in, they quietly abandon the projects, leaving buyers stranded and uninformed.

At Herencia, we are committed to doing things differently—transparently, deliberately, and with long-term vision. As Robert Greene advises in The 48 Laws of Power, Law 29: Plan all the way to the end. And that’s precisely what we’ve done. From the outset, we mapped out the Herencia project in detail, with phased infrastructure planning extending through to Phase Four. We’ve been intentional in our execution, ensuring that every milestone is fully delivered before advancing to the next.

To date, we’ve successfully constructed the estate’s signature entrance gate and secured the property with a boundary wall. Phase One roads have been graded, and power is now live on-site through a newly installed 3-phase transformer. Most recently, we’ve begun grading roads in Phase Two, marking yet another tangible step forward.

Our water infrastructure is also taking shape. In the coming months, each plot will be fitted with a connection to our borehole water supply. At the same time, we are in advanced talks with Thika Water and Sanitation Company to bring in a secondary municipal water line to supplement the borehole. This dual approach means Herencia residents can look forward to a reliable and consistent water supply—something that remains elusive for many city dwellers grappling with frequent shortages.

All of this is part of a broader promise: to deliver not just land, but value. At Herencia, we’re not interested in hype or shortcuts. We’re building a community that works, that lasts, and that delivers on its word.
